MultiSample Effects

Hello. Sorry if this has been covered already. Let's say I'm assigning samples in MultiSample Edit. I use that patch for my project. I also add some effects and what not.....Now lets say I'm working on a different project and I want to use that patch. Why is it that the patch effects are still on there. What if I don't want to use those effects on this project....how do I fix this to where I can load that patch on different projects and it doesn't save the effects I put on there from the previous? Thanks.
