We use a board which allows me to control my own mix via iPad. I have a line out from the board that I currently plug into a small amplifier that runs to my headphones.
I'd like to use the Fantom's Line-in for this signal and then run my headphones straight out of the phones port on the Fantom. The headphone mix should only be the Line-in signal, because my audio signal is going to the board via Outputs A and B. I'm doing this to eliminate the need for an amplifier for my in-ear monitor...one less piece of equipment to setup and haul around.
In other words, I want to route the Fantom's output only to Outputs A and B and the headphones to play only the Line-in signal.
How do I make that arrangement happen on the Fantom? Anyone have any suggestions?
Use Line-in As Monitor
Re: Use Line-in As Monitor
in short:
You cannot use line in as a monitor only input.
To hear line In from headphones it has to be routed output A, since B is direct out and not passed to the headphones.
