MIDI Keyboard input HELP

My Question: If you hook a full 88-key MIDI Keyboard up to a Fantom G6, can you use the MIDI keyboard to the same capacity as a G8?

I do not have a G6, I have a G8. But I'm considering trading my G8 for a G6 and then buying an 88-key midi controller so that I can transport the Fantom easier during gigs. Does anybody have experience with this?

Yes, you can play a G6 from another keyboard.

Be sure to buy a keyboard that has a MIDI Out port, not just USB.

And, of course, you'll need a MIDI cable.
