Wav to RPS

I'm wondering if there is a way to use an imported WAV as an RPS? I'm trying to trigger imported samples, in a looping situation, in the pad mode.

What about create a patch with your imported sample as source ?
Create a phrase with this patch and put this phrase in the RPS.

(I don't use the fg for sampling that much)
