Strange transposition problem

Post by gorillasmoothie »

Hello everyone,

My Roland Fantom G8 is set up as a MIDI keyboard which I use for composition in Logic 9. Today, I turned on my keyboard and for some reason only 61 keys are active and each key I play sounds a minor tenth above what is being played. For instance, when I play what should be a C4, a D#5 plays through my speakers. Moreover, when I look at the workstation on the G8, there are only 61 keys lit up as opposed to the normal 88 keys, and when I play a C4, the D#5 lights up on the interface. This all happened overnight and did not happen for several years prior. I'm wondering if there is a way to initiate all 88 keys and transpose everything back to normal. I have tried the factory reset, but that did not bring it back to normal. I have also tried manually transposing everything down a minor tenth, which brings the sounds back to their respective note, but there are still only 61 keys active. Any suggestions?
