Hello all I have a few patches (as single mode) in a project but I don't have them in my main project is there any easier way to transfer those patches using editor or librarian to my Main Project or finding Waves and matching the settings in the main project is the only solution to this.
Thanks in advance.
Transfer Patches from one Project to Another
Re: Transfer Patches from one Project to Another
Heres a procedure you can use.. a slight bit complex but simple in relative terms..
Load the project the project that has all patches you want to copy
Let call it Myproject1
Assuming your copying these to myproject2 on the same usb drive or internal memory
using USB mode connected to your pc/mac rename Myproject1 to MyProjectX
Rename MyProject2 to Myproject1
Writing Patches:
find the patches you want to transfere and use WRITE to write each patch
ensure your writing to an unused patch number, maybe start with patch #512 and work backwards
assuming you dont aready have patches at 512 and down.
if any of your patches use your own samples, open the patch and find the sample numbers used write them down.. and increase these numbers in the patch by lets say 1000 so user sample 1 is now user sample 1001 and so on..
Now go to your current sample list and WRITE sample 1 to sample 1001
repeat until you have written all samples in your patch (this way you avoid overwriting your existing samples)
Assuming the project your copying to does not have used samples already above 999
for your next patch repeat from WRITE PATCH:
when all patches and samples are done
rename current project back to MyProject2
and rename MyprojectX to MyProject1
reboot fantom
and your done!
Hopefully this helps.

Re: Transfer Patches from one Project to Another
This worked thanks alot for your help. Can I ask one more question, I have bass chords on the left side in the live mode, and I use a hold pedal to hold those chords and is there a way that those notes dont over lap when I change chords while pressing the hold pedal constantly.
