No I don't think so. Yamaha have not released a workstation for a long time now, the XF was a beefed up XS and the Montage is not a workstation, Korg seem happy with their Kronos that has also been around for a long time. I don't think there is a high enough demand for workstations anymore that warrants the spends of the R&D to design and put one into production.

Once you realy get in to the G you dont have to be looking for another workstation..
it does it all.

I could`nt justify dumping the G for any other workstation
and if you have invested time and effort in to the G to get to that level..
going for another workstation is a Big step backwards.

It's turned out to be a great workhorse for me, live machine, midi controller, composition tool, alongside my other synths and DAW. I find getting into sampling and RPS, programming of realtime control really busts it wide open as a live performance machine. It's quite deep. I don't think there's anything since that has the range of features and potential it has. It's not without it's quirks though. But working with it as is yields some decent results.

This is the best all around synth (workstation) to date. I'm looking for a second one just in case. Roland I think has moved on to the kids buying recycled/remade trendy synth gear for now.

Yeah, it would just need to combine the sounds of Integra7 to the fantom g and fix the bugs and there you have it, the next Roland flagship :)

new flag ship = new bugs, new learning curve.. change of workflow
also means you have just wasted all that time you put into learning your fantom for nothing

you just need to keep pushing forward with what you have and if you want to add the integra sounds..
just get the integra and connect it to the fantom and you have the most powerful workhorse around..
(currently my setup)
