fast way to have chosen 1 note to play kind of arpeggiated?

Like in Reason and with its arpeggiator, you can have one note to play repeatedly.
In FG and with its arpeggiator, All I can come up out of the box are kind of patterns, weird.
What are options to overcome this or did I overlook something?
- Make a self-style and import?
- tweak sound that it plays so?
- Use effect to a sound so that it plays so?
