Patches in sheet music different names than on Fantom

Post by AdamPhoenixWhite »

Greetings,
I am a long time Fantom G8 owner, and I recently was hired to play for a regional production of the Broadway version of the The Who's Tommy. I got the sheet music, and there are a whole bunch of patches listed in the book that I'm assuming are generic terms for various synth sounds from other boards and setups, but they don't correspond to the Fantom, and I'm much more of a pianist and deal with more standard/typical sounds (piano, bass, strings, woodwinds, brass, etc) than the synth sides of things, so I don't even know what a comparison sound to start with might be. I've got some ideas on these, but if there is any pro keyboard types out there that have recommendations for which patch to use, that would be awesome!

What I see in the score:
Scrundge
Squdge
Nosebert
Oxygen Music
Buzz Gliss
Electrofart
Brassholes
F*ck U Clav
Ghost
Stremelo
Syn. Pick
E. Power
Bell Stop
Lead Pipe
Pistol Shot
Jet
We Ate Flangrs
Phantazia
Barberpole
Marvin Bells
Emporer
Mad Bells
Digital Down
White Noise Filter Sweep
Electroslap
Whoosh!
Desert Mist
Crystal Choir
Mirror
Syn-pho
Explosion
Jump
Ciao Joe
Budnanote
Don't Let Go, Joe
Bubble Gliss

Any thoughts? I've googled almost all of these, and I'm pretty much stumped.
Thanks!
