For Digital Performer
You have selected to download the Digital Performer ".middev" and ".midnam" files for the Fantom-G.
These files are for use on Macintosh OS X. If your device does not show up in the default devices listed in the "Audio MIDI Setup" utility, you will need to select both ".midnam" and ".middev" files to download. If your device name does show up in "Audio MIDI Setup," but the patch names of your device do not show up in DP, you will need to select the ".midnam" file only.
When you select a file to download, a new window will be popped up to force the download of the file. On most Macs the file will automatically download to your desktop. If promped, save the file to your desktop. If you need to download another file, close the popup window and you should see the "Roland Patch Script Builder." You can now click on the other file to download.
You will need to place these files in your MOTU folder in the main Library/Auto/MIDI Devices folder. Download this "readme.pdf" document if you need more detailed instructions on installing your ".middev" and ".midnam" files.
