Hi
This is my first time post. I got my Fantom X6 today so my first question might be newbie like.
So..
How do I do that backing vocals "effect" like in www.rolandus.com --> X6 product demo --> Video demos --> Audio inputs.
Where that guy sings: "Don't Go"
I know already that it's somethin with those assignable sw buttons but what.
TIA

Real time backing vocals
Re: Real time backing vocals
It's done with a MFX.
You've got to route your input to an MFX and then make sure that MFX uses the right effect.
I'm not sure wich effect it is though and I don't have a fantom nearby. Maybe someone else knows wich effect it is.

Re: Real time backing vocals
So does this mean that the FX has a vocal harmonizer?

DrSarurdaynight,
I wouldn't exactly call it a vocal harmonizer. I've tried the Pitch Shifter MFX with mixed results. Granted, I didn't spend a lot of time with it because I don't record my vocals on the X.
Check this prior thread.

They should really get rid of that video, it's very misleading.
