If you download his Fantom-S backup zip file, there are a ton of samples in there, not sure if they're the exact ones used in the demo but you should check them out!

sampling ethnic sounds
does anyone know how to combine sounds in a ptach to create a sound similar to the SARANGI the Indian string instrument?

Sarangi Samples
I have sarangi samples for 6 keys in wav files. They are good samples and I tried creating a multisample out of them but it does not sound right.
Shakil - Do you want to try them and see if you have any luck creating a good patch out of it. I created Israj without issues but sarangi seems to be a pain.
Let me know.

Re: Ethnic sounds for Fantom
You need to play with key tuning control to make them sound right I guess.
We discussed about Indian musical instrument tuning in the forum before. The only way I can think of is to layer 4 waveforms..assign each wave form to specific octave and tune that octave to real instrument tuning. You will get 4 octave instrument. If you want 5 or more octave(I doubt the realism), you need to use performance mode to layer more than 4 wave forms.
