question on fantom s

i am looking to buy the fantom s. went to guitar center and played with it. does the fantoms have rhythmic patterns like the combinations in the tritons. how do i use these patterns. any one compared the quality of the fantom s patches with the xv5080. thanks.

I have the Fantom-S and the drum patches are smoke'n. Go to the arppegio/rhythm section on the left side of the board and turn it on. You will notice that the top 8 sample pads turn off. You can then go through the preset patterns using those pads. You can also change kits and patterns from that section.

So, you mean I can switch rhythms with pad buttons? Like on old beatboxes?? Great!!!
