Touch Sensitivity Lost on only one key

Post by wicus_ »

I've lost the touch sensitivity on only one key/note of my X8 - all the others are fine. No matter how soft/hard I play it, the volume is max. Already did a hardware reset / factory reset, but no improvement. Anybody else experienced this before ?

I had something simular /
-> for me velocity was juping from i.e. 10 to 127 ... I had my keybed cleaned at Roland and it is solved.
So, it can be a hardware issue.

I have a similar issue with my 3rd octave F key. Does anyone have intel on how to perform this key clean myself so I don't have to send it off for $$$cleaning. Btw, how much was the cleaning? I keep my keys covered at all times when not playing. Please advise. Thanks, Chuck

Hello all. Does anybody know contact information to find a technician who is capable of cleaning my Fantom? I want to get my F key working again. I live in Havelock NC so Greenville is a possibility as it is a university town. Is this something I can attempt myself? Thanks! Chuck

There are good DIY videos on YT. For example https://youtu.be/wsSXaxYjoR0
