Yamaha Ac Piano + Elec Piano CP70 + Hammond B3 – FanX

Post by Cesarsound »

Per request of some colleagues here, I have joined 3 of my Sample Libraries in one file. Now you will find 37 patches covering Yamaha S700, Electric CP70 and Organ B3 in only one file.

Download (--> jcr <--):
http://rapidshare.com/files/426901162/YamiePiano_CP70_B...

Note: The paches are exaclty the same of previous individual libraries. Just unzip the file (~170MB), copy the Roland folder to your CF Card, plug it on FanX, push SAVE/LOAD and then F7 and go to PATCH Mode or PIANO Mode. See the patches 1-37 on CARD area.

Enjoy.

Nevermind, I found it... (who puts it away that far :P)

But now I get an error that my sample memory is full and not every part is playing when I play it. Do you need more than the standard amount of RAM to load this?

hello everyone, thx.

Yes, you need to insert a DIMM (RAM) memory module in your Fantom X in order to load this library. 256MB is okay.

The password seems to not work for some of the samples. Anyone know why?

So I finally got the RAM, CF card and adapter in the mail - and it all plays nicely with the fantom X6...
But when I go to Load/Save and press F7 to load all samples (like it says in the readme file i should), all the samples just get loaded up as one sample per preset. I'm new to this, but I'm very curoius and I would very much like to make this work. Am I overlooking something? Am I supposed to load some sort of definition file or...?

Hi Python, thanks for the interest.

I have just tested and loaded this library on my Fantom X6, and is working fine.
Some tips:
-Be sure that the CF Card (flash memory card) is formatted and empty. Then copy the library file to the card.
-Use a card reader to transfer the library file to your flash memory card.
-Please, after finished the load of samples, go the the Card Patches. They come afterward the GM patches bank.

Good luck and let us know if you have any doubt.
Julio.

Well, this is a quite emberassing one... But like I said before, this is the first time I've done this... The thing is that I was browsing through the patch categorys where they are not to be found... - Clicking F5, getting me into the patches section solved the problem... :P
This stuff sounds absolutely marvelous by the way!

I am struggling to get your sounds to load. I followed your instructions but all I get in CARD is INIT PATCH.

I am having the same problem with joeri's Fantomas soundset so I am obviously doing something wrong.

I download the samples to the ROLAND/SMPL section on the CF card

I download the SVD file to the ROLAND/SND section on the CF card

I insert card into fantom X and press SAVE/LOAD and then F7

all samples load into the fantom but when I goto CARD in patch mode all I get is INIT PATCH also I can't find the patches in piano mode either!

Any help please, I feel like a right wally not getting this at all!

Hi Solitary man.

Please verify if the file "fans.svd" is inside the folder "SND" that is under the folder ROLAND that you have copied to your flash card.

That's exactly what I was experiencing. Make sure you're browsing through patch mode and not patch category. If you're in patch category mode the presets will appear in their categories (piano, ep and organ) but you have to scroll a bit, since they come after user/preset/gm patches but before your srx patches (if you have any)...
