SRJV presets converted to Fantom X and S

Hello everyone,

how can I load these mid. files. I tried it in librarian, but it didn't work. Please, help me. :)

Hi,
Does it not load into your Library program or can't you send them to the FanX / S?

I have just checked on my FanX Lib and they load OK.
You need to go to the File menu and 'Import SMF' (Standard Midi File)
They should load into the first 128 presets.

When you say 'some works' do you mean they all load into the Library but when you send them to the FanX some of them don't sound?

You will have to tell me what SRJV presets you are trying to use and what SRX cards you have installed in your FanX

Hi Tim.
No one got back to me about the SRJV 1 waves to SRX/Fantom waves.
So no, there hasn't been a conversion.

A list of waves from the SRJV1 and a matching list of waves located in the FanX or on some SRX card/s.

I would just like to say a massive thankyou for the amazing job you have done converting the JV series soundsets to the Fantom X.

When I first got my hands on SRX-07 I thought I was going to be blown away by the new sounds. Alas it was a dissapointment. I had a JV2080 with SR-JV80-04 in and loved that board so much. I thought the SRX-07 was going to take the quality to the next level. Which it didn't and as I had to sell my JV to get my X I was doubling annoyed!

So I have just loaded your VS conversions into my FX6 and WOW I've got the old sounds back.

FXL are loaded in to librarian . but no sound .. Plz help. i only need SR JV80 vocal ( jazz dow fall patch) and Latin (Mariachi Trumpet) patches only...

Starting with the obvious, you do have the SRX cards in your Fantom?
SR-JV80-13 Vocal waves are in SRX-06 Orchestral
SR-JV80-18 Latin waves are in SRX-09 World Collection

If the patch loads and appears on your Fantom, but there isn't any sound, the most likely explanation is the SRX cards are not there.

Perhaps you can start the editor find a wave that is similar - although I think for those patches you really do need the SRX waves.

I dont Have srx cards installed on my Fantom xr. any one plz give me tone samples of Vocal Jazz Dow Fall patch and Latin Mariachi Trumpet and Trumpet Shake patch wave or samples plz ...
