Has anyone here used a "König & Meyer 18993" stand for their Fantom X8 (88 keys, weight 29 Kg)
I'm interested to know if I can safely use this stand for my Fantom X8 in my home studio..?

Can I use KM-18993 stand for my Fantom X8
Re: Can I use KM-18993 stand for my Fantom X8
Well, the spec say it is good for up to 40kg, so this should work.
Then, I'm personally using this model:

While more expensive it is much stronger (up to 80kg), and you could even add a stacker for a second tier. This is certainly the best stand I've ever bought.

Thanks LA Keys .
Maybe I should have added to my original post, that I own the KM-18993 stand now,
while the Fantom X8 will arrive here next week.
So what I'm actually also in doubt of right now is;
Will the width depth and height of my KM-18993 stand fit to the Fantom X8,
so that the Fantom X8 can sit properly and securely on it..?
Or is the Fantom X8 too wide/deep/high for a KM-18993 stand ?

Re: Can I use KM-18993 stand for my Fantom X8
The depth of the Fantom X8 is 455 mm.
But the depth of the actual support arm area on the KM-18993 stand is only 355 mm,
and that's including the two rubber end caps..
So guess depth-wise about 50 mm of both the front and the back of the Fantom X8
will 'stick out' with NO keyboard stand under it..
Does anyone know if this is going to be a problem ?
And if it's not a problem, is it a good idea to 'balance' the Fantom X8 on the stand
- push it a bit back so (maybe part of) the rubber end caps sticks out in the front,
or should I push it at bit forward ?

Re: Can I use KM-18993 stand for my Fantom X8
Well, the Fantom X8 arrived here yesterday, a couple of days before expected.
Also, I found out that the stand I have is actually a KM-18990 "Rick". Sorry for the confusion.
Got the X8 on the stand, pushed it at bit back, and everything seems to be working perfectly so far.
I've had JV-1000, XP-50 and Juno-G with various Expansion Boards before.
This Fantom X8 is a really great workstation.
The specs say "1152 patches" in preset memory, but it seems there are only 1024 preset patches in my X8 (Bank A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H). Does anyone know what the reason could be for this ?
