Fantom X-7, Keith Mcmillen 12 Step and stuck/hanging notes?

Hi. Anyone here using a Keith Mcmillen 12 Step with a Fantom X? I started using one with their midi expander box and I'm getting stuck notes on the Fantom. Basically, I push a pedal, the chord sounds, but one of the notes in the chord hangs and I need to switch to a different performance patch and power cycle the 12 Step to stop it.

I can also have the pedal connected to my Mac via either midi thru from the Fantom or via USB and the stuck notes don't hang with the Mac VIs so it seems to be specific to the Fantom.

I installed a midi monitor on the Mac and the note ons and offs all seem to be going through.

Anyone have any ideas of other things to check?
