Just got this on order coming from GC. Sample memory can take 512.
I see on eBay they have 1 gig memory. Any advantage to this
What is largest compact flash card it can take
Had the Fantom S but wanted more poly and sampling memory.

You can put in more than the alleged maximum of 512Mb but, to be honest, sample loading is so slow that it's not worth it imho. I use a fraction (46Mb/14.3%) of the available sample RAM and my Fantom X8 takes over 5 minutes to load the samples. Maybe it's to do with the large number of short instrument and drum samples I use.
