Fantom FA76 has lost the plot

Post by demal24 »

I've got an FA76 that has performed fabulously for the last couple of centuries but now it's attention seems to be wandering. Specifically, I can't edit performance settings. As soon as I go onto another one or turn it off, they're lost. I can still register patches and they stay when it's turned off. I assumed there was an internal battery but I've looked inside and can't find one. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Looks like nobody on this forum has an answer. Have you considered posting your question on the vintagesynth.org forum? Even though the FA76 doesn't quite qualify as vintage, there are several technology experts / synth repairers on there who might be able to help you diagnose the problem.
