Hi,

Maybe this is a silly question. I am on macOS Yosemite and I have access to VirtualBox. I tried to installed Fantom X editor, I get the following error.

You can’t open the application “FantomX Editor Installer (E)” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

I was wondering if I could install it using older versions of mac or windows in Oracle virtual box?

You didn't mention which version of OS runs under vbox (support to non-intel apps was dropped after Snow Leopard iirc)
If it's some Windows version you should try the windows version of the editor, running the installer from within the hosted Windows OS
P.S. caveat: you may experience some usb connection issues under vbox, which are not always easy to address (and you will obviously need to install the fantom windows driver from Roland)
