Fantom X - Repository

Hello everyone:

I am looking at creating a simple site with the single-minded goal of posting and hosting all the files and tips that have been posted to these forums over the years.

I plan to use tools such as the Wayback Machine to help locate long-lost/undistributed files for the Fantom X. Please note that I do not plan to pirate anything. I do not support piracy.

Also, I will make the effort to reach out to the listed/known owners of the files, and I will credit the known owners of the files on the site with the files. The point is to make using the Fantom fun and not a hunt for files.

For files that are actively being sold, I plan to provide links to the sites with the files.

The goal of this project is to preserve the posted file history of the Fantom and at the same time make it a bit easier to find what you were looking for.

I am hoping that people will find this useful, and I am open to suggestions.

Roland Clan Hosted, but appears to be written by and distributed from Roland Corp.
Service Manuals for the Fantom X6/7/XR and probably the X8 as it is similar to the X7.

DRIVERS - Windows 10 - Non-Native focused on Windows 10

Note: This post comes from our own forum user: Benis. It is focused on the Fantom XR, thought it looks like it should work for the other Fantom variations. The site is in Spanish but, people should be able to figure it out. If need be, we can do a translated page.

HARDWARE NOTES

Confirmed that my X8 has no issues working with 1,2,4 gig CF cards.
Confirmed that any generic USB cable has worked to connect a PC to the X8s driver space via Linux and Windows 7 and 10.
