Juno Stage as sequencer?

Post by breakbeatah »

I'm a bit pleased that you can create rhythm patches with the Stage, but can someone please explain to me it's flexibility. I basically want it to do what my MC-909 does, mute any of the 16 tracks in realtime so that you can basically build a song. From a youtube demontration can you only create rhythm patterns thru step sequence?

I want to get this since I'm pleased with the vocoder, but I wish it had incorporated a sequencer like the Juno G. i'm not too found of playing just a backup track off a usb key, and particularly because i'm skeptic of its converters. i want to use this as a workstation as well. the Fantom G doesn't have a vocoder =(

No, the Stage doesn't have a sequencer. It's arp and rhythm machine may be programmable, but that's it, as it's meant to be a performance synth. Why don't you look at the Juno-G? It has the same sound engine, sequencer with audio tracks, sampler, and the keyboard is good for such a light (~6 kg) and compact synth.
