Drum beats stop when changing voices

Hello.

When I siwtch patches on the Stage, the Rhythm pattern stops playing. How do I prevent it from stopping when I switch sounds? I am using the Favorites buttons. Some sounds in the Favorites registers are of type User, Performance, etc. The rhythms stop regardless of what type of voice I am playing. I will try to activate the 'Patch Ramain' option tonight, but fear this will not solve the problem.
