Drawbars? M-Audio UC33e

Post by goz211 »

Got an idea - can this be done?

M-Audio UC33e with its 9 sliders - assign them to 9 individual parts in a performance - each on a separate midi channel. Use 9 organ tones (the ones that are used to make up the great sounds at 935-963 in the presets). Sliders are sort of inverted drawbars bringing the organ tones in and out. 128 notes polyphony - even divided by 9 it ain't bad (for organ parts). Don't know what a glide would sound like.

The tones available aren't going to be hammond stops sampled in isolation but I was wondering if there was any mileage in this?

Anyone got a UC33e to try it out?
