I used to have a Juno Stage and presently have a MoX (in addition to an Integra). I'm not sure what's better for electro synth and new age, but for acoustic samples (pianos, organs, brass, winds, partly strings) I think the MoX is somewhat better as it has all the original sounds and samples from the Motif XS, but this is literally turned around if you use 2 SRX boards in the Juno (e.g. Complete Orchestra and Complete Piano), then IMO the Juno is better. I also tested the Krome thoroughly in the store, its piano and e-pianos are superb, but brass and strings sections are disappointing.

I looked at everything you are suggesting when I finally ordered the "Stage" recently.

I wanted good unweighted 73 or 76 notes, good sounds and lightweight to carry around too.

Krome = sounded great but the keybed is awful and 2 minutes to boot up ??
M50/73 key = OK but awful cheap keybed
MOX-6 = sounded good but also has an awful keybed.
Kurzweil PC3 = I always liked them but sounding a little dated now, was too heavy also.

Stage has a great set of basic sounds and with some editing, they can be great.
Have SRX-07 on it's way, stuck in the post at the moment !!
I would say it's a good choice for your needs.

Marty.

I read mixed reviews of the boards you are suggesting, however the SRX07 seems to be a "must have"

That board has the JV-Vintage synths / 60's/70's Keys and Session board plus a few extras.

Perhaps more of a classic synth board but great for electro too IMHO !

However, wishing you great "sounds" whatever you choose to add.

Marty.

If you only use the SRX 05 and 08, you won't get any improved acoustic samples, but only dance grooves, hits etc. If possible, I would combine one of these with an SRX board with acoustic sounds, such as the SRX 07. You might think about buying an XV 2020 module in addition, they cost about 200-250€ used, and you would have 2 additional SRX slots.

Well, Thank you everyone you are a superb! forum. Now, I have to say that I'm very glad of being an owner of this sonic beast I will buy srx 07 for sure and I will also search for another one with pad and synth sounds... In addition I will buy a multieffect proccesor for extra sound modifying.... !!! THANKS YOU
