sudden drop in volume

Yesterday I had an awful experience playng the JS with the band, luchily we were just at rehearsal, I can't imagine what could happen if we were in a live gig. I was playng a performance with two patches at the same time, one of them was a variant of the XP-A: 358 HappyLFOsSRX and the other was the XP-A: 273 M12 Strings. After a while the volume went suddenly out of control, for no reason it began to lower and then when I tried to reset it, it jumped at maximum level. I had to stop playng for a while and then when I started again to play it didn't happen anymore. It was the first time I had an experience like that and I still don't know what could have been the cause. As the JS was linked to the mixer maybe it or the PA monitors could have something broken instead of the keyboard, but also the voices were linked to the mixer and they had no problems like mine. Anyone of you have encountered a similar issue? Any help is welcome, I can't go in a live gig having the fear it may happen again.

Hi Francoran,

Have you played since this experience? Did it occur again? I had a similar problem a few years ago, when we used another mixing desk than we usualy did. Also sometimes a drop in volume, not constantly (both on my Juno Stage and on my XP-30). Couldn't find any cause for it. After this one time we used our own mixing desk again and the problem never came back. It must have been someting in the mixing desk or the wiring to it. Maybe/hopefully it's the same with you.

I have been playng again for three hours in the same hall where I had the problem but it didn't occur anymore. I don't Know what was that drop in volume the last time, maybe the wiring... who knows. Luckily it doen't seem a keyboard issue.
