problems with usb memory sticks

I'm having problems playing mp3's from the memory stick. They are sometimes shown but don't play. Othertimes the stick is not seen at all. I am using 2gb sticks formatted for fat. Is the make of the stick critical or maybe it's it possible I have a dodgy usb socket

I think the problems I had were cheap rubbish memory sticks.
I have now got decent ones and everything seems OK

Glad to hear you got your issue sorted.

Do you know if there are any limits to the size of memory stick you can use with the Juno Stage? I can't see anything in the manual.

Also, are recommendations on how much space is needed for patch saving etc? I'm assuming not a massive amount and you'd only need a larger memory stick if you wanted lots of mp3s?

I think as the memory sticks are FAT there is a limit of 2GB.

I'm using SanDisk Cruzer 8gb and 16gb usb drives just fine. Just format them using the Stage and then insert in my Mac, load files, "bob's your uncle.." and all that!
