song player volume adjust

Post by oliv928 »

Hi everybody,
When using song player with mp3 files when playing patch or performance, the mp3 volume is too high vs JUNO sounds. Is there a way to adjust level on the JUNO pannel ?

IIRC it is not a parameter you can control in real time. You have to set it in the general configuration menu.

IIRC= if I remember correctly
That means: my Juno stage is in its bag and I won't be able to take it out until Sunday, so I wrote what my last two working neurons claim to remember ;)

oh ok ! sorry ;-)
I have looked in to menu system sound ...
But there is nothing Inside... So, I am afraid this level cannot be adjusted
So, the way to do is to prepare the mp3 file with adjusted audio level. I have experienced that level of -10dB is suitable for a good balance

Anyway, I was completely wrong (my internal brain connections should be debugged...).
You CAN adjust the song player level in realtime using the level up&down buttons in the Song Player section of the Juno controls and you may even adjust the song level for each song in the Song Level Edit screen or set the general player volume in the Click/Player -> Player section of the config menu
See pages 69, 71 and 151 of the manual.
