At last!!!!!!!!!!

I wondered when these boffins at Roland would replace the ageing AX-1 and 7.

Does anyone have any idea how this wee gem would be priced? I'm guessing around the same price as a SH-201.

Roll on July.

Agreed. The used prices on the AX-7's were getting RIDICULOUS. Can't wait to try one of these out.

jeanbart, the AX Synth is said to start shipping in June, as I remember, which means it's final sound set and user manual might not be ready yet.

Truly is a dream coming true!!
about a year ago I bought my AX-7, as the luckiest find ever!
(It was burried somewhere in the back of roland shop here in Israel, somehow it got to me for 375$ only, brand new in the box and everything!), Also I have it signed by each of Epica's band members!

The AX-Synth surely is gonna be my next!

Best part about the AX - Synth is -

Post by KRE8A »

that you can stand up and play without getting a sore back. I reckon that is really cool because thinking realistically, throwing some movement and action into the feel of the synth, you can play on and on and be exhilarate, feeling really lively. Cannot wait to buy one in the nearest of the nearest future.

Being a long time AX-7 user, I can't believe that it doesn't have wireless MIDI, and audio - at least as a plug in card option.

I also would have loved to have seen a rechargeable battery.

Otherwise, it looks cool - if not a little big.
