Does Roland recommend a stereo wireless system? The manual says to use the left and right channels... so I'm thinking stereo would be best. But hard to find one... Line 6 doesn't have one according to their tech support.
Thx.

Re: Wireless
Hi,
I use it (AX-Synth) mono (wireless), and it sounds good. I have to say that I also use my other keyboards in mono (in live gigs): I read few forums on the topic (mono vs stereo in live), and I decided to go mono. In fact I realized that in most places where I play, the advantages of stereo get lost, and also many sounds would even sound worse.
Regards,
G.

Re: Wireless
Thanks G.... where are you located? Seems like your wireless is European based. Wonder what the 111 euros equates to in USD$. Probably around $250 give or take a euro. I'll check with my local music store in Hawaii to see if they can get me one and what that puppy will cost me. I'll also test out whatever they have in house and I'll let you know after Christmas where I'm at. Love my AX-Synth. It's soooooo kool to be mobile. I also have a Roland JV80 Synth and the Roland FR-7 Digital Accordian (my roots are accordion but my first love was my Hammond B3 but I don't have it anymore).

Re: Wireless
The X2 wireless system from Line 6 is amazing. Super clean sound, and tremendous range. Also, $129 brand new.

Re: Wireless
I've been using the Brace Audio DWG 1000:

It's worked well for me. Inexpensive and durable. The range is good, not as good as that line 6, but the only time i've lost signal, is when I was about 150feet away and the other side of a thick stone wall, so it'll probably go where you want to with it.
A bit of advice. I think it's the same with most of these wirelesses, but the belt-clips are absolutely useless. What works for me is having a couple of strips of velcro on the wireless and a couple on my ax-synth and that works just great.

Re: Wireless
Thank you all for your help. I'm taking the model numbers and my Ax Synth down to the music store here and will see what they have in stock. Living in Hawaii, they don't stock everything but hopefully I can test a good one. I really like my Ax Synth and it's a nice compliment to my synth, sequencer, guitar/bass and lots of amps collection.
