Flight case lining: foam vs fur/velvet

Hi,

I still need to get a flightcase for my AX Synth and was wondering if anyone has experience with the effect of standard flightcase foam on the high gloss finish of the AX Synth.

I'm a bit worried that the AX' finish will get dull due to the potential abrassive action of the foam on the finish and I'm wondering if I could and should ask Thomann (where I get most of my made to measure cases these days) to line it with fur or velvet.

Any thoughts?
