How to connect keytar AX7 to RD 300sx

i just bought AX7 and wanna connect it into my RD 300sx via MIDI, so i can play the RD300's sounds in my AX7, i already tried to connect it (AX7MIDIout--->RD300sxMIDIin)but AX7 doesnt produce a sound when I push the key.. so i try to connect AX7 with other keyboard, it works normally..what happened with my RD300sx?

what settings i have to do in my AX7 or RD300sx? im a newbie in MIDI program :D
