Changing MIDI TX fast

Hi,
I'm a new owner of an AX synth and would like to know if there is a fast way to change the Midi TX channel in a live situation so I can switch external MIDI channels to play different sounds from my connected FA-08 or Integra.
Would it be better to program a couple of favourites with the BANK Select commands to switch the sound without changing the MIDI channel ?
