AX-1 and programming

I bought a used (of course) AX-1 a couple of weeks ago. The manual came with it, but I'm finding it a challenge to really figure out how to change a number of parameters on this thing and so far, no youtube tutorials. Does anyone here know of a good resource for better understanding how to program one of these things?
