603 Lord Organ

Hi I just hopped over from the JUNO-DS forum, having just purchased a used AX-EDGE from a friend who never used it. I'm using it all the time! So I have about ten songs per night that use organ. I have settled on Rotary Organ 2 as the best overall patch, but for a couple songs I want to add a little distortion. The Deep Purple patch is..... OK..... but I don't like the harsh modulation, I really need to hear that Leslie spool up and slow down.

Using the editor I turned ON the distortion in RotOrg2 (and the amount is selectable). I want to assign that value to the Assignable Control Knob, but I"m not seeing the connection within the editor (unless I"m missing something). The midi implementation guide(page 8) lists basically the same info as the choices found in the editor. And I don't see one for distortion. This is where I get lost.

Any suggestions?
