Ax Edge Not Saving Program/Sound Changes after Power Off

Hey all, I hope someone can help with what I'm doing wrong. I've gone through and used the bluetooth app to make changes (removing ribbon pressure, changing the ribbon to +2, -12) and I can write it to the Ax and play through them just fine (using help from this very forum to figure this step out), however as soon as I turn it off, the changes I wrote to the Edge undo themselves. The ribbon changes itself back to default (usually +2, -2) requiring another lengthy app session every single time.

I've gotta be doing something wrong, right? It can't be that I have to change those settings every time I turn it on? Any help is appreciated.
