I suspect this will be an easy answer for most of you.
New Ax Edge owner.
Placed a WIDI Master on my Juno Di. Edge plays the Juno patches perfectly.
The problem is that the Juno and WIDI Master are TRANSMITTING back to the Edge. The Juno is playing the Edge patches along with its own. I only need the Edge to OUTPUT MIDI, not input.
Works fine with an actual MIDI cable from Edge OUT to Juno IN.
So can you disable MIDI IN (via Bluetooth) on the Edge?
I was hoping the WIDI Master could be configured, but apparently not.
I've tried changing every Ax Edge system MIDI parameter I could find on the Edge, no effect.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Disabling MIDI IN on Edge using WIDI Master
Re: Disabling MIDI IN on Edge using WIDI Master
Confirmed by CME that the WIDI Master is a bi-directional wireless MIDI and cannot be used uni-directional, so no way to use CME to solve the problem.
The Juno uses one MIDI channel for both send and receive, no obvious way to separate them. (Patch Rx/Tx Ch 1-16)
I found an inelegant work-around. A small powered MIDI switcher with the WIDI as input, output disabled.
