Does the Juno Di's editor work with 64 bit windows?
Looking through the forum one person said that the editor works but not the driver yet another said the editor did not work.
I need to find out if the editor works with 64 bit windows
thanks!

Re: JU-Di and windows 64 bit windows
Hey vxfan
I run Vista 64 bit edition (unfortunately), I was able to download the editor but this is useless as there is no driver.
Here are the drivers which I could find online.

If you have no luck this this, you might have to install another O/S or use a virtual machine to run another. This is what I did today, using Oracle VirtualBox and running 32 bit edition XP.
Bit tedious but I have the editor working... finally

Re: JU-Di and windows 64 bit windows
Hey Thanks for the info.
I am thinking about getting the JU-Di mainly for performance purposes but would like to edit sounds as needed.
Do you think it would be a problem with playing back mp3s if my computer is windows 64-bit, I guess I may not be able to create a play list?

Re: JU-Di and windows 64 bit windows
I'm not sure if the editor works or not but IF it really works on a 64Bit OS it shouldn't be a problem to use it.
You might not be able to use the USB cable as a midi connection (because of the missing 64B ir driver) but you could use the Juno Di with a normal midi interface.
You would only need a midi interface like this:

Re: JU-Di and windows 64 bit windows
The editor installs and runs under Windows 7 64-bit.
I don't have a Di, so I can't test it, but there is a Windows 7 64-bit driver as well.
(I take it that doesn't install for Vista 64-bit?)

Re: JU-Di and windows 64 bit windows
I have a Juno-Di now and everything is compatible with my Windows 7 64-bit system.

Re: JU-Di and windows 64 bit windows
I have bought a Juno Di recently. I have tried to install its drivers to my Windows 7 64 bit PC but I could not. It's giving a message like that "setup.dat does not exist" . I am logged to my PC as administrator. Do you remember a problem like that during your installation ? Please help.

Hi,
did you download the driver from Roland?
https://www.roland.com/us/support/by_pr ... s_drivers/
It seems like a problem with the driver package.
