Adjusting Touch Sensitivity for Individual Patches

Post by mandyreider »

Hey All,
Please be nice, I'm a newb!

I'm using a Wurlitzer patch (for Goodbye Stranger, if you're curious.) You know how when you hit the key really hard, you get that Wurlitzer "bark" that you need for such a song, and when you lightly press the key, it's the soft, Wurly sound? I want to know if there's a way that I can adjust this so that I don't have to hammer on the key to get this bark. I want it to bark all of the time. Does that make sense? For reference, I'm using Piano patch 123, and I don't want to have to break my finger trying to mash down on the bass note to get the right crunching Wurly sound. I already went into System and adjusted the keyboard to "light touch" for the entire system. This doesn't help. I still have to hammer on it to make it bark. Does anybody know what I'm talking about, or a way that this can be adjusted? Maybe somewhere in effects? I couldn't find anything.
Thanks!
Mandy

Hi,

you can turn off velocity for every patch. Start the editor, click on "Velocity & Key Range", then "Velocity Control". Choose "off".
