Looks pretty damn good! Wondering what takes Akai so long to release their SynthStation. NanoStudio might be the first app after BeatMaker which is this so high-end.
NanoStudio soon will come to iPhone OS
Re: NanoStudio soon will come to iPhone OS
Well.. what other apps really can be used for make the whole track on idevice?..)
1) Beatmaker - yeah, great, but only 16 samples can be used in project
2) Grooveboxes as iSequence, Bleep!Box and iSyn - nice but limited in style
3) SunVox - nearly impossible to create smth because you shoud know how many pauses you should do before placing new notes
----
Xewton and ThumbJam are nice\great etc. but i dont think uts good idea to make smth with pianos, saxs etc
SO
NanoStudio will be really great
If Akai's SynthStation have retro sound, this is smth sweet
by the way Amidio announced WaveReign
of course too much loud words like "completely music creation environment lalala"
brrr brrr
waiting for NanoStudio

Re: NanoStudio soon will come to iPhone OS
BeatMaker is really great, it is slightly let down by lack of variety effects (only 4) and amount of busses (only 2), but chopping loops and re-mixing on the go is really great with it.
Amidio's stuff has proven to be 90% buzz and 10% sound, their stuff is visually appealing but turns out to be unnecessarily complex and not that capable at all. Would not put my bet on anything from them. Noise.io and Hexatone got deleted from my iPod very quickly.
Xewton sounds like 1990's Casio, I was disappointed.
My favs so far are Jasuto - seriously capable modular synth, and Argon - very nice-sounding 3-oscillator VA synth.

Oh yes, and still looking forward to Akai's app. They promise it's the same engine as Miniak / Micron, should be pretty damn good in a pocket.
Re: NanoStudio soon will come to iPhone OS
Beatmaker is great yes but his limitations push me to buy Roland SP 404
About Amidio - however, i dont think that Hexatone is smth awful. It is interesting and useful for smth crazy
though to use it as usual drum machine - BeatMaker is 100 times better)
sorry for offtop
ohhhh six weeks to wait
NanoStudio, i mean

Hexatone is interesting, but it takes an hour to create something meaningful... that's why it makes no sense to me. I can do the same or better manually in BeatMaker with much less pain and in 10 minutes.
