I'm looking for some help making sdubstep bass sounds with the Gaia. Specifically those seen in Skrillex songs. Such a hard hitting bass, it really needs to be recreated. If anyone can figure this out, it would be very appreciated.

Bass sound help
Re: Bass sound help
buy massive.
wob wob wob! yoy! yyyyoyoyyyyy!
Seriously. Seriously tho, Skrillex is processing the ****all out of his basses. If you're talking sub bass, a sine wave will do, nothing will hit harder than that. The trick is in the mids.
If anyone's doing these with just the SH-01, I'd love to hear more about it.

Re: Bass sound help
Thanks dbijoux, I have a friend that's been telling me about massive for a while and I've heard its the best program you can use. I got a pretty good dubstep whomp the other day by setting the first oscillator to the sub bass, then the second and third as higher tracks and only putting the filter lfo on the higher tracks, but still not exactly what's preferred. I've been trying to make dubstep in all real time with an actual drummer and just the gaia minus software; proving to be more difficult than I expected :/
