Oscillators level

Post by stoca01 »

Hi,
just got a Gaia and starts experimenting with sounds. Before going through the manual, I started to replicate a few patches I created on my Arturia miniV. I should say "approximate" more than replicate, but again this was to see how easy is to create patches, having already an idea on how a particular sound was created on another analog synth.
One question I have is if it possible to control the level of each of the oscillators, as you do in the "mixer" section of the moog.
Also, in other synths I used, you can specify the oscillator pitch by "foot", eg, 16', 8'. In the Gaia it seems you have a 4 octave span from -2 to +2, and I just wonder if there is a way to approximate the two settings.
The oscillator pitch is a continuos semitones control, and sometime I'm not sure where I'm setting the pitch.
Is there a way to be sure that for example I'm exactly at -1 octave ?

Sorry if the questions are too noob-ly and thanks for any help, hints, tips you may offer !
