turning tones on and off retriggers envelopes- Normal?

Hi,

I hope there is a hidden setting to fix this but I want to be able to mute and unmute tones without all the envelopes
being reset retriggered.

Even when turning a tone off, it retriggers the other two tones' envelopes.

2. can I change the behavior.
