knob removal?

Has anyone ever removed/replaced knobs on the SH-01? I tried pulling up on some but they seem pretty attached. Not like the knobs on my old SH-101, etc.

I don't want to damage anything by yanking too hard, so I'll leave them be unless someone has experience with this. I was considering replacing them with some colored knobs just to liven things up a bit...and maybe something a little bigger on the cutoff knob since it feels tiny to me (I've gotten used to the large one on my Moog).
