I might do one but with Ableton it's very simple you just enter msb/lsb and program change on a midi clip within a midi track. Ableton does not support patch scripts with patch names.

Thank you mike.

In the Logic Pro video did I understand that you can play liveset from the Gi via midi?

Yes you can play a live set and record it to a midi track if you have the Juno Gi in live set mode and 2 midi tracks record enabled in Logic for channels 1 & 2 ( upper and lower )

Wow thats good news. I was under the impression that livesets couldn't be recorded via midi. I guess the manual was only referring to midi ctrl mode. Thanks.

Where have you been Mike? You're making my day. Thanks for the image.

As a new JUNO Gi owner, these video (and booklets) are really great, useful, and well done!
THanks for th support. In my line of work we also produce similar trainings/update/instructional videos and I know it takes time to create and polish them.
Keep them coming. If I could suggest a few topics for upcoming videos, they would be:
1- Sound editing
- Create and shape your own sounds and patches starting from the basic Gi tones
- Using filters to create synth sound, multi layer sounds with different attack/ decay etc etc
2 - Use the Gi as a General Midi Module
- How to edit a midifile to play at is best on the Gi
- Create a live set from a GM file (so you can play a few parts from the keyboard)
- add your voice/guitar to a gm midifile (this one should be already covered by existing booklet, but added just for completeness)
3 - Using the Gi with CUBASE and Reason (yep, sorry)
Again, thanks and keep up the good work!

Mike, you are the man. Best video I have ever seen in terms of production, presentation and useful content.
Wish Roland hired you, Dan and Ed full time to make videos and supplemental product manuals instead of snippets here and there...this will avoid some of the frustration people have with roland support and place Roland up there with Yamaha in the support department.
