Help Figure This Out

Post by mgmg4871 »

I just realized you can use the drum kits as a split in the Juno Gi. You can also assign the arppegiator to the lower part of the keys and choose the split point. The arppegiator can be set to hold which will continue without holding the keys down. I did a test and, set the arpeggiator to rhythm and the drums played. So I was thinking we could possibly trigger drums in a live situation by pressing a lower key. What I need is someone with knowledge of arppegiator midi files to guide me on how I would use them in this situation. I know how to import them. I just never used them. Would you just import regular midi drum files into the arppegiator? From C-2 to Bb-2 covers the kick, toms, and cymbals so you would only need the first 11 keys for the split. The rest of the keys could be layered or even further split for a bass and another instrument. I think this has great potential if figured out. Give me some help some of you keyboard wiz kids,
