Just a simple question. If not, I will not be able to reciecve 2 tracks of midi, each calling for it's own tone?
Thanks, J
Is the Juno-Gi a Multi-Timbral Keyboard?
Re: Is the Juno-Gi a Multi-Timbral Keyboard?
The Gi is a 16-part multi-timbral sound source. Just enter Perform or use the pc Editor
Re: Is the Juno-Gi a Multi-Timbral Keyboard?
Thank you for replying. I'll check the manual for how to enter the perform mode. PC editor? I didn't think one was available. How do I get that?
Re: Is the Juno-Gi a Multi-Timbral Keyboard?
Ooops, sorry I missread your post and thought you were talking about the Juno-Di. No Editor for the Gi. You do have the 16 Midi parts (plus the 4 "live" parts) however.
Sorry for the confusion.

That's okay. Can't find perform mode though. Any hints on that would appreciated.

Let's see if I can help...Nnonname wrote:That's okay. Can't find perform mode though. Any hints on that would appreciated.
From the MIDI implementation documentation, we see that The Gi can be controlled by a MIDI controller in order to produce Multitimbral Sounds. Those sounds could be:
- Preset TONES (the ones that form the Live Sets)
- GM TONES
Take a look to the Owners Manual on pages 82 - [3] (RX) and 83 - [4] (SYNC)
And also to the JUNO-Gi Soundlist
I hope it helps
