Quantization is a function of a sequencer. No sequencer, no quantization.

Is the term quantization used interchangeably with midi conversion?

I think I read somewhere about software that takes guitar input through MIDI and jots down the notes on sheet music display.

I think I saw this on an Axon MIDI converter demo on Youtube.

I'm not sure if there are midi converters for other tones.
