MP3, Midi or SMF Backing Tracks??

Post by flyingace »

Finding backing tracks that will work with the song player, where do you guys suggest looking? I'd love to find some decent sounding SMFs so I could turn off the piano and play along. What do you suggest? Any tips would be great! Thanks!

Lots and lots of places to get SMFs online. Quality varies greatly. Just google midi files for any band or artist. I haven't gotten any in many years, but a guitar player I work with put some on a stick and I tried them in the Gi and they played back correctly. I also put some wav files on the stick and they sounded great playing back on the Juno. Center- cancel is fun. Goodluck.

Thanks. We had fun playing with the song player over the holiday. My daughters did some "karaoke" with it and I was able to play along with a few tracks. As you say, a lot of whats out there is kinda crappy but good enough to use for practice.
